It happened again. The book ends but there is no real ending. Given that we have a fresh MC in each installment it leaves me feeling really unsatisfied that we don't get more of a resolution with the characters. I don't want snippets of them in the next book.
Why weren't these books written with multiple perspectives per book?
And I don't really like the couple. I just don't feel anything. Separately they're fine but together there's nothing. Maybe I don't find them interetsing because they don't banter. They argue but they don't banter. The vibes are different.
I don't think I'll finish the series. I don't see what book three could give me besides an end to the plot.
