Wildflower Hope by Grace Greene
4.0
The beauty of this series is a gentle spot to rest in a hectic world. Kara is a wonderful character, and in this book, she comes to terms with her most recent loss, as well as grappling with other losses (both current and past) on her way to accepting the possibilities for her life ahead.
The one point where it fell a little short is in how it treated Kara’s medication. The author seemed to tell us about an addiction problem while not showing much indication of that problem. And combined with the back matter, it felt like Grace Greene intended to Make A Point about opioids even though the book didn’t feel to me as if it was making the point nor did the entire topic feel necessary for this book.
