Loving Frank by Nancy Horan

4.0

It was slow going early in this book for me- I normally read either non-fiction or legal thrillers, but this one caught on after a while. This book as been described as historical fiction, and indeed it is interesting to get to know more about Frank Lloyd Wright in this depiction. If it hasn't been made into a movie or TV movie, there certainly is enough material to do so, between Mamah Cheney's advocating for the rights of women and the engrossing plot which features Mamah and Frank becoming tabloid fodder (very appropriate given today's media environment- think Kate Gosselin). This is a heartily recommended read- probably the best book I've read this year.
