Enjoyed this one a lot. The relationship is really starting to go somewhere, and I liked the interactions a lot. Chako is still a bit of a mess, but she tries hard and it feels like her character is a bit less all over the place.
I don't like love triangles when the characters are being wishy washy and playing games with feelings, but I do enjoy an unrequited one, esp when the person here making problems is an ex. I thought the miscommunication trope here tried too hard to be comedic, but we got there in the end.
Looking forward to the next.
*Note about the bonus mini chap* CW for anti-fatness and diet culture focused on a child, sexism. I hated it. I'm tempted to take a star off, I hated it so much. Futaba is 4, ffs.
