This book was FREAKING FANTASTIC!!!
Sia was literally picked up and carried into a Fae Kingdom by it’s King. A seer claims she has to be there for the competition. She is entered into this competition to be Queen and has no way to get home. Lore, the King, is cold as ice. Sia can’t understand who would want to be his Queen!
The competition is cool, with a little Hunger Games vibe. Sia finds strength and courage in this world that she never had in the human world. She also finds a good friend in Meria. They work together, agreeing that if Sia helps her win and become Queen, then Meria will help her get back to the human world.
Meanwhile there are unwanted feelings brewing between her and the King. He does not want a relationship with his Queen or any female, because of his past he feels it would jeopardize his kingdom.
I loved the whole book and sucked it right down!! I have book two and can’t wait to see what happens next!!!
