Letter 44, Volume 2: Redshift by Alberto Jimenez Alburquerque, Charles Soule

3.0

Second chapter done and dusted, as promised, and the story deepens glacially. All is not as it seemed, and the long game of this comic series begins to reveal itself. The spacebound part of the story seemed nearly to take a backseat to the Earthbound political manipulations this time out, when in the first volume, they were more balanced, at least in terms of time spent. Still good stuff, though, as before, the art style here will not be to everyone's liking - the physicality of people, weird shadowing and hard angles are a little jarring until the eye acclimates, then I was pretty much good to go.
