This was such a fun and exciting read. Theodora Edwards is a writer, and after her husband went missing years ago, she was living a life of a hermit in her cozy cabin near the woods , working on her latest book. Well, her life took a turn when a law enforcement agent showed up warning that her ex-husband is dangerous and may come for her anytime. While Theodora didn't understand what's happening she was then got introduced to the paranormal world of Faes , Vampires and Shifters unexpectedly through a series of events and that's when she met Farranen, a fae who sworns to protect her. She also gets another companion from the woods , who she calls "dog." I really love how snarky and funny Theodora is. Farranen and Theo are getting along well, and I can see her hermit life is going to end since Farranen is slowly taking a place in her heart. I can't wait to see how their relationship progress. Theo and Dogs interactions are so funny and cute. Now I m so excited to read the next book
