I absolutely LOVE this series...why? Well the very first book in the series is the very first BDSM book I ever read. I was sold that instant. I will always have a special place in my heart for this series. It opened my eyes to a whole new genre of books that I have come to love oh so very much!

Now with that said I would have to say this book was not really my favorite. I love Xander and Javier but I just felt like this book really didn't have as much BDSM in as I wanted. It was a good story. It seemed to be more about their story, more of a love story, about them working with Javier and him getting over what is eating him alive pretty much. Which was good don't get me wrong. BUT I wanted more BDSM. Xander is this person who is all about sex and is good at his BDSM. He is trying to get his brother more into it. The only thing I felt was that aspect fell a little short in this story. I knew where it was going don't get me wrong. I also LOVED that London is not this stick skinny girl.

This is the first book that I have read that has a menage with brothers. I have read quite a few others but it usually has friends. This series is the first that I have read that had family members involved in a menage relationship. First is the cousins, this has brothers. So at first I thought okay, this can get weird right? It didn't. I actually liked how everything worked out. It was written well.

The only reason I was not OMG about it was because I felt like the BDSM was a bit of a miss. I understand that she (London) was new to the whole BDSM lifestyle but they just didn't stick with it the way any other person who is training someone or getting them into the lifestyle would have. (or at least not like in some of the other books) I felt like they let her get away with too much and at the same time they kind of tried to do the Dom thing but lost it at some spots. It is brought up in the book and I wanted to say 'Thank you, I knew I couldn't be the only one who saw that!"

For me this was a bit of a miss and for some it may be a hit. So it just depends on what you're looking for. If you want more of an angsty book about a man who is having a hard time dealing with his own personal issues and his brother is trying to help him, and the process and how that journey goes. This is a good one.

I am looking forward to the next one though. I also LOVE that we always get to see some of the guys from the other books!
