Really enjoyed this. It feels halfway between a collection of shorts stories and a novel, and jumps all over the place in terms of narrators and settings and timeline, but in a way that works. I loved the sheer amount of characters that were conjured up and dismissed so quickly, while still feeling real and distinct. The narrator(s) explore queer intimacy and sex, intracommunity care, self harm and addiction, and ageing in a sort of meandering, looping way that feels like a conversation at points and works really well.
