Dorian Gray is a novel so seductive and irresistible in delivery it is as if Lucifer wrote it. The words here are honeyed, sweet, and viscous. They really flowed with a purpose and permeated my entire psyche. Reading this felt decadent, slightly off-putting and a tad risque. I have downed so many books but nothing compares to how Oscar Wilde describes the feeling of inspiration and passion. I really saw and experienced the beauty he wanted to convey. It was delightful! This is an incredibly inspired work. Stunning, direct, impactful and memorable. Go read it yourself!
