"No mourners. No funerals."
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I found it really exciting, easy to understand, emotive and funny! I felt like I was reading this book for ages but it never felt like a chore when I picked it up or that anything was dragging. The book being broken up into smaller sub chapters made it less daunting to read a book of this size.
I was curious at how I would find this book as I haven't really read much fantasy and I've watched shadow and bone and I loved these characters in that show. But this is so much better, this story is great and I'm really excited to get and read the second book! The way the characters are written is perfection, each of their personalities comes across so well and its probably one of my favourite dialogues in a book I've ever read.
If you're looking for an adventure and a bit of fun then I recommend this book!
