3.6★: WAS ROOTING FOR ELDERLY PROTAGANIST IN THIS “COZY MYSTERY.” This book had 5 stars until 54% (or 4hrs 58min, ~164 pages) in. I could not suspend my disbelief, and then several other events happened that resulted in 2 stars for the rest. Published just three weeks ago on 7/25/23, it currently has a 3.82-star rating by 522 others. Had I just had patience to see how it faired, I would have skipped this one.
