To The Center Of The Earth by Greig Beck
Did not finish book.
DNF chapter 7
I had to DNF this one because the main male and female protagonists were trash people who willing withhold important safety information from their friends in order to accomplish their own personal agenda (the male) and because...I don't know...attraction? Romance? (the female).
And the remaining characters are not well-developed and I suspect are only there to increase the body count.
So there's no character worth becoming invested in and the story just feels pretty generic and obvious from the start.
There were other reasons too. Like too much focus on pseudo-science, the really unnecessary romantic sub-plot, and a weird focus on mundane elements like how long cavers can hold in their waste before "dropping a log the size of a loaf of bread".
