I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy
4.0
I went in with high expectations for this book after hearing everyone rave about it. I loved Jennette’s style of writing and how it had a comedic feel to it, despite it being focused on incredibly heavy subjects.
I continued to be shocked throughout and it just goes to show that you never know what’s going on in someone’s life, and just because they are in the spotlight doesn’t mean they have a perfect life.
I’d definitely recommend reading this but more so listening to the audio book as Jennette narrates it herself and does so, so beautifully.
The only reason for not giving this book a 5 star is because when biographies are done at a younger age, I feel like there’s still so much more to say and give. Otherwise this would be a 5 star read.
