Did not finish book. Stopped at 21%.

Found out AFTER I started that there is a trilogy you’re meant to read beforehand that makes the immense info dumping in the beginning make more sense. I can see how that would be helpful but regardless, I think the structure and flow of the info dumping was very poor and far too fast paced for even a crumb of it to be absorbed. I tried to give it a shot but 21% in and not finding a single aspect of the story or characters compelling is what ultimately resulted in me adding this to my DNF list.
