The Steel Remains by Richard K. Morgan
3.0
Noir fantasy with an unsympathetic gay protagonist. Starts off strong but loses steam midway, and the world isn't as well build as it could be. The constant stream of vulgarities is also jarring. Still, Morgan's prose is often well-crafted, and the novel is interesting and even original in a genre that's rarely innovative.
