I WILL RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TILL THE DAY I DIE! I don't know how the hell Colleen does it but she put me through the 5 stages of grief the WHOLE book. You will be rooting for the characters the whole time and it really makes you feel everything that they're feeling. It saddens me that this book isn't talked about enough because in my opinion it truly is one of her best. There are little things to take into thought before reading this like teen pregnancy, drug abuse, and physical abuse but besides that its amazing [as i've been repeating this whole review] And for anyone thinking about reading this and wanting to know if its a happy or sad end just know it has a happy ending but it will still leave you in tears, and I say that as I am writing this sobbing lol. Lastly, for those of you who like a little spoiler here is probably the best quote from the book... "She's like a light, unwittingly brightening up the darkest corners of a man's soul."
Moderate: Addiction, Child death, Death, Drug abuse, Drug use, Emotional abuse, Physical abuse, Sexual assault, Toxic relationship, Violence, Stalking, Car accident, Death of parent, Pregnancy, and Gaslighting
