Ok so this was a let down and I feel like I am just getting at the point with this author that I really truly do have to stop reading all of her books because it’s all starting to have the same feel — the characters, the plot, dare I say the clichés.

I actually find myself far more interested in what’s going on with the fae prince than Ren and Ivy, which to be fair I’m typically more of a villain girl than the “let’s save the human race” guy.

And right when everything started to get kind of twisted and interesting, Ivy has the “one and only chance to escape” scenario and then the reunion ensues and honestly I’m just like *barf*.

And Ivy is becoming kind of obnoxious. Like girl — I get you went thru some shit and you have to get your head sorted but let’s not forget you’re an ass kicker? Maybe it’s her age. Her immaturity. Her inexperience. I honestly can’t put my finger on it, but she annoys me.

And Ren.

Get a grip home-skillet.
You abandoned your girl when she told you the most important thing and YEAH SURE I GET YOU NEEDED SPACE, but can we not pretend you absolutely got lured but Brenna or whatever-the-hell her name was because you def considered drowning yourself in another woman — I won’t believe otherwise. It wasn’t until you got caught that you realized wtf you’d done.

Ugh.
I don’t even have the energy to rant about this one anymore.

Two stars, fam.
