I read the first chapters of this after they leaked and the author put them up on her website, which has to be at least 10 years ago, and have been waiting for the rest to be published ever since. It didn’t disappoint, I enjoyed it just as much as I enjoyed those first chapters, even though my twilight frenzy has died down since my teenage years. Edward’s self-loathing gets a bit annoying sometimes, but that was to be expected, as it’s a thread that runs through all of the other books as well,  it all in all I really enjoyed this look at his POV.
