A surprising discovery I've made over this past week is that I rather enjoy sailing and piratey stories (just finished the Daughter of the Pirate King duology and moved on to Fable). Overall, I enjoyed the book and the characters and loved the dredging part of it, but sometimes I felt a little lost regarding worldbuilding. It was one of those reads where it didn't quite suck me in to where I couldn't stop but it was also intriguing enough to make me finish the book. I'm not quite sure if I'll continue on with the second book, but we shall see!
Overall, I recommend giving it a go!
