I really couldn't get on with this set of short stories. The first story THE DREAM EATERS was okay and I was very impressed with the start of the second story THE LEMURES. It kind of ended abruptly but I didn't think anything of it.
So I moved onto the next one, which again ended abruptly. Each story seemed to end at least a few sentences before it should. I wanted a bit more from the stories but the author moved onto the next.
I really struggled after that, having to skip through the pages to see how long each story was before I started it. Knowing the end was going to be short stopped me from enjoying any of it.
I've not been able to bring myself to read the novella at the end yet. Hopefully if I read another book then I'll have the energy to come back. We'll see.
