Madeline has just turned 18 and thought she was okay being stuck in her house due to her disease. That is until she begins a relationship with the new neighbors' son. The relationship grows quickly and Madeline tries to recognize that things are moving fast. She's not sure if it's because he is a new person in her life or if this is love. But she begins to lie to her mother on big things and secrets begin to be exposed. There is some great foreshadowing throughout the story for the twist at the end and Yoon had me second guess myself a couple times with her hints. A good addition for YA romance sections.
Graphic: Medical content and Medical trauma
Moderate: Sexual content, Grief, and Death of parent
