I enjoyed the book, I had a few issues with it but overall I enjoyed it. The last 100 pages were the best part of the book, and I do think that it could have been shorter, but it was also a very different read for me and like nothing I’ve ever really read.

I know the main parts of this book were politics and journalism/blogging, and those were honestly the bits I didn’t really like. For me, they drained the fun out and they were do detailed it started to feel draining and tedious at times. But I also appreciated them at times weirdly enough. I never really 100% hated anything that happened, but there was definitely times were I didn’t really care either way. I wasn’t expecting what happened in the last 100 pages, and I was thoroughly shocked and depressed and fully engrossed in the story but it took a lot to get there.

This took me 10 days to read, and honestly it wasn’t the book that did that. Due to the current situation I just really struggled with the will to read. I’d find myself just wanting to watch tv, and only end up reading a chapter a day, if that. Maybe it also decreased my enjoyment of the book because it was so spread out, maybe it wasn’t. I guess I’ll see with the next few books I read.

Planning to one day continue the series, but probably not in paperback like this one, because I find myself less likely to pick it up. Perhaps even audio would be best. We shall see.
