Yes. Yes. Yes! This series is like an adult version of Throne of Glads (my fav) with the slavery and slaughter and war and lots of bloody gore, and magic, and fae, and all the things. It’s super creative, multi-POV (by the 3rd book it’s 4 ppl), and definitely super emotional. It didn’t gut me like ToG, but there was definitely great character arcs, surprising turns of events AND a solid ending that gives a picture of life after everything ended.

People are sleeping on this series. She knows how to make a villain… one that you’re not sure will end up being a villain in the end because you kind of have compassion for them. Are you supposed to root for them or no? For awhile in this book I was kind of like… “ok but who will end up being the villain? Is it who I think it is??”

IMO, better than her Crowns of Nyaxia series.
