What Big Teeth by Rose Szabo

Did not finish book. Stopped at 30%.

Baffling pacing, no emotional connection to any of the characters, no proper space in the book for the narrator to breathe, lack of basic, contextual information from the author for the reader to understand what was going on. I did not connect with any of the supposed "gothic horror" elements so loved upon by other people who read the book. Greatly, greatly disappointed in this one. I'm the type of person that pushes through stories when they get tangled up or completely turned upside down, but the lack of reason or even a hint of reason was too much for me.
