The Cartographers by Peng Shepherd

4.0

This was a fun little mental break from more serious reading for me. It's an easy, fast-paced read, with a bit of suspense and a bit of mystery. I did figure out a major plot point before it was revealed, but for most of the book I was well entertained. I think what I found most interesting was the author's note about the real-life inspiration behind the book: the actual "phantom settlement" that turned out to be real.
