The Golden Spoon by Jessa Maxwell

Perfect for fans of (a legally distinct version of) Bake Off and murder mysteries! The Golden Spoon has so many twists and turns, you'll think you're inside a kardemummabullar. The book starts off with a bang--a body is discovered on the set of a beloved baking competition--and the rest of the story is told in flashback as a lead-up to the crime. With LOTS of multiple POVs being juggled, you'd think too much would be given away, but the surprises keep coming. Chapters are short and sweet as we flit between characters, keeping the pace very fast. I recommend reading this around Halloween with a big mug of tea and a slice of cake.
