So far this book of the Dark Ones did not hold my attention as well as the last ones. I liked the characters and the idea of the story, but I wasn't a huge fan of the storyline. It didn't work for me for the first half of the book and the second half started picking up. I feel like if this group is such an issue for the Dark Ones we would have heard more about them in the previous ones and that makes it difficult to get into the story overall. I like Katie MacAlister, but this story was not my favorite of her's.
