Fake Dates and Mooncakes by Sher Lee

5.0

No because this was so so CUTE!!
From the first meeting, over the fake dating trope to falling in love. This was adorable, really.
A story about family, culture, belonging, remembering and love.
This story showed how life has its good sides, but also a fair amount of challenges and things that don’t go according to plan.
‘Fake Dates and Mooncakes’ was a easy and fast paced read that honestly did feel like a fanfiction some points - but not in a bad way.

There were a few aspects that for me personally, definitely could’ve been executed differently and perhaps with more detail but this is a short book and it seemed like, it was intended to be fast pasted. I’m gonna rate this 5 stars because of the enjoyment factor. I had a good time reading this and would pick up another book of this author for sure <3
