Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Other Stories, by Lewis Carroll

slow-paced

0.75

I’ve seen a lot of stories based off of and inspired by Alice in Wonderland and usually enjoyed them, but I’ve never read the book.  I thought this would be a great opportunity to it and other works by Lewis Carroll. This will be an unpopular opinion, but overall I found his works to be tedious, however I did get some enjoyment from Sylvia and Bruno. I believe his use of nonsense writing is the cause.  I’ve never liked what I call stupid comedies, think Dumb and Dumber his works resemble this too much.  The works that didn’t were kind of random, there was around 100 pages of word problems and their solutions, and quite a few games.  Overall this book is probably best for anyone looking for various examples of his writing.
