I enjoyed this more than the first one but something was still missing. The smut was fantastic and really hot but I could do without the plot and just make it straight up smut.
This had a strange 3rd act conflict just like the first book which took me out of the story. It seems like a trend for the author to bring out sensitive topics just for drama of it. That I did not like at all. I also didn’t like the fact that I had to read the exact same scenes with the exact same dialogue from the first book several times just from a different perspective.
