Exile and the Kingdom by Albert Camus

4.0

My only previous exposure to Camus was "The Stranger" a few months back, which I enjoyed but didn't thoroughly understand at first passing. Taking in his philosophical absurdism is easier in smaller doses with the six short stories presented here. Each one carries a strong sense of individual character and purpose, the common theme being one of "exile" or separation. I look forward to digging into more of his work.
