I read the first couple of pages of this a couple of years ago when I first bought the book and randomly dropped it... maybe I was onto something there. This was just NOT it for me. I liked how the author played with the structure of the story, and there were very interesting topics that were touched on. But to me there was no substance in the story itself. The characters were boring, found the writing to be meandering and at times pretentious. A chore to get through.
