This book dug into the anxious parts of my brain and ripped out the intrusive thoughts, the paranoia, the overthinking, and put them into the main character, Gilda. I couldn’t put this down.

my main issue with this book is when it’s good it’s great. i just wish it was consistently that good. because i loved the overall story i just feel as though there’s more we could’ve learnt about the world these characters live in. it felt brushed over to me, or that we were introduced to others who we’d never really get to know.

this book has taught me so many things. a lot of things i never knew were related to unresolved trauma. i will definitely be utilising the 5 things approach next time i need to clean up. i've never felt so undetstood.

i'm not going to lie, this book hurt a lot, this book felt so real and only convinces me further that taylor jenkins reid is capable of multiversal travel, it's like she went and interviewed actual people. her writing skill is undeniable. i loved this so much.
