I really liked the idea for this story and FMC’s inner dialogue that was often sarcastic (even though sometimes childish for a 19 year old). I liked how the author described Alexis losing her mind. 

However…

the “she’s ours” trope with Patro and Achilles didn’t really sit with me right. They didn’t interact that much throughout the book so why the sudden change from dislike to like? It really came out of nowhere, in my opinion.

I think this could have been explored more… 

The little smut scene wasn’t really necessary I think but I’m not complaining just stating my opinion. 

I love how in the end she realized her strength and I think that will be the main theme of the next book.
