great plot, amazing concept and overall pretty good but there were a few things i found a bit lacking.
while i loved some of the characters and found them very very intriguing, i wanted them to be a little more fleshed out and better developed. there just seemed to be something missing in them. (also adam is one of thE most boring characters i have ever read about, he has the personality of a piece of cardboard idkidk)
the writing was really good for the most part, i loved how it genuinely felt like i was in juliette’s head and how the writing style seemed to change as juliette’s moods and her conditions changed. but i also felt that sometimes the writing became a bit tiresome and kind of exhausting, there was such an overuse of metaphors and repetitive sentences. and some stuff just didn’t even make sense tbh (for example, he says it with a small smile the size of jupiter. huh??? bestie jupiters the largest planet in the solar system 😭)
but all in all i do think this progressively got better and i’m really excited to read the other books in the series!
