Babel is one of the best books I’ve ever read. Theres so much I want to say but it’d take forever to type. If you’re thinking about reading this book, do so immediately!

I don’t hate it, but I don’t love it, either. I feel the last few chapters were rushed, causing the climax to be so very anti-climatic. Olivia’s job for planning the wedding was  important  for character development and the overall story, so I’m pretty disappointed we didn’t get to see it. Also, I don’t think the characters ever truly addressed all of their underlying thoughts and feelings from 11 years ago.

There were so many twists and turns in this book, I was completely hooked! I appreciate the complexity of the characters and how their flaws contributed to the story line.
