This series is so fun. And this one specifically had me excited, because its lesbians and magic and mystery on a boat, and what could be better than that?? I loved the dymamic of Maud being the brain, Violet being the muscle, and Hawthorn being the token rich white guy on demand to buy them out of any problems that couldn’t be solved with wit and magic. Cant wait for book 3!

Read this in highschool, re-read it again as a queer adult who has realized Nick was 100% definitely in love with Gatsby. This story is public domain now, someone get on that pls!

Love this book, love this movie! It really stood apart and held its own in an era where space stories were coming out one right after the other. A+ combo of sci-fi, fun, and space

I’ve re-read this book so many times I’ve lost count. The first queer book I ever read, it holds a special place in my heart. It was life changing to read this for the first time and relate to it in a way I hadn’t ever related to something before. A comfort book for me now, even though the theme is heavy. The first time I read it was on audiobook, and I finished it while driving home and had to pull over to ugly cry

This was required reading for a class in my fall semester of junior year as a film & tv major in college. It was really powerful to read something queer like this as part of a class, I was so excited to read a book about a lesbian for homework

The ending made me ugly cry in traffic while listening to it on audibook on the drive home. I know what it says in the title. It still hurts

Part rom-com, part mystery, part sci-fi, and its alot of fun. Jane is basically Casey McQuiston’s Bucky Barnes: out of time, memory loss, a history with trains
