Wow! This was an awesome read. There was always something happening and changing the course of the plot. Fantastic read. 

It does have parts that remind me of A Court of Thorne and Roses and From Blood and Ash, but those plots aren’t necessarily new and specific to those series. 

This author did not drag the plot out in several books. She did a phenomenal job and I cannot wait for the next book… in a YEAR. 😭 I cannot wait. Such a good read. 

I also loved Carrion as the comedic relief. He was great and deserves the recognition.

Honestly, I was eating up this series at first. It began to be a bit redundant after a while. Not really a fan of how the lead up to the climax in the book was and the climax of the book/ series could have been more thought out and better written. Overall, I loved the beginning of the series, but I felt as though this book was a let down.

I would rate this better if there weren’t as many grammatical errors. The plot was good, but not amazing. Definitely ended on a cliff hanger.

The overall plot of the story was pretty well thought out and written. I didn’t really love the ending as it seemed it was fresh rushed. I also didn’t understand why she (the author) has this conflicting view on Christianity. Maybe she is conflicted internally? Not sure. But would not recommend to anyone unless they are okay with a pretty dark romance.

Really enjoyed this book from start to finish! I saw online that it’s a standalone book and you don’t technically have to read the other books before, but I highly encouraging reading the first two to because it references things in the book. 

It was a very happy and emotional ending. I loved it.
