SOOO refreshing. Took me a second to get through but I absolutely loved it and it was so unlike anything else i've read. A lot of love in the story..I'm not really a fantasy girl but this was the perfect kind of fantasy for me. really beautiful.

one of those books i just randomly plucked off the shelf at the library ha ha. I thought the letter format was fun and enjoyed it a lot. haruki murakami has serious damage about women but i keep reading everything anyways. His writing style just rocks. Nothing really happened in this one but i kind of liked that about it
The Little Friend by Donna Tartt

this book took me forever to finish but I'm so glad that I did. Really heavy thematically and dense with detail and storytelling. Extremely leonardo dicaprio pointing meme when the title feature/little friend reveal happened. Perfect book for those of us who love ambiguity. also i love books about childhood friendship. donna you will always be famous
