just okay for me. i liked the dialogue and all the characters were interesting, but overall a little unsatisfying. i think that was the point but still landed a little flat for me

this book was an endearing reflection on what it means to be human. i canā€™t decide if Adina was an alien or not, and i am surprisingly not bothered by that bc it was so much not the point. i loved this one :)

really cool and well written book. i loved how you could track charlieā€™s journey through the way he wrote, how often things were repeated, etc etc. a really cool concept for a book and i really loved charlie as a character. i liked how grey-area the whole book was- intelligence gave charlie so much but also ruined him in a lot of ways.

definitely gave off ā€œwritten by a man in in the 60sā€ at times, but thatā€™s to be expected

I really enjoyed these short stories. they were quirky and explored a variety of speculative themes. my favorite was Lacuna Heights!

this book was edgy without a lot of payoff at the end. i didnā€™t really get the ending but whatever. i really liked how this was written! i loved the hive mind of the kids and the moms. overall a really enjoyable read

heart wrenching and real. my interest wavered a bit in the middle sections, but overall a really powerful read
