The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman

I think I needed this book more than anything right now, and I'm so glad to have it. It's exactly the story I needed to be wrapped up in, the world I wanted to wrap around me like a cozy blanket and never leave. Though the story ends, I still don't feel like I've left it. This is one that will stay with me. And I will probably re-read this book a thousand times because it is everything I ever needed. Thank you Neil Gaiman for being so brilliant and bringing this amazing world to paper for the rest of us to visit.

I teared up at multiple points and absolutely loved every bit of it! I fell in love with every character and felt as if I was a Swift family member myself throughout the story. I desperately wanted to be in Shenanigans shoes to explore the house and discover all the secret passageways. Sincerely and undoubtedly recommend this book to anyone who reads, and will even chuck a copy at them to prove my point.

Beautifully written with a heartfelt message at the core of it, this novel needs to be read by everyone everywhere!! It also has gotten me back into baking, which I missed doing. There's no better feeling than the joy of giving baked goods to others :)
