This book was very cute, would be a good Halloween read if I wasn’t so impatient. I had hoped for a bit more magic, and did not expect smut, but all in all I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I swear each of the last few books I’ve read have been my “favorite”. This one is no exception. I didn’t know what to expect, as this is totally different from my usual reads, but it kept me in a grip the entire time. I’m not usually one to cry for books but it had me crying multiple times, both out of sadness and happiness. I was rooting for Kenna the whole time, and I swear I felt her sorrows. Her constantly writing letters to Scotty is what really got me. I could relate to that so much.
This was my second book by Colleen and I am looking forward to reading many more!

This book has a fantastic and shocking ending, and while the middle feels very drawn out, the ending makes it worth the read!
