Absolutely loved this book. The writing is incredible beautiful and the slow pace matched so well with Circe as a character. Her revelations and reflections about gods, humans, live and immortality that dawned upon her as time passes are amazing. And what a girlboss. I love her.

I really loved reading this. I loved the way it reflected over big and small wonders and questions, while everything seemed so normal and everyday like. I loved how the main character realized things about life and humanity, and adore the different characters. Pretty chill and relaxing, but I definitely shed a tear at the end

Overall very sweet. Bit dull in the beginning, but once halfway through the pace picked up and I ended up really enjoying it.

Enjoyed this one a lot! Greens writing style definitely suited this book well, and the plot and characters are well written. Also easy to read, and well paced.

Really enjoyed this one. My first read by Coelho and I’m definitely gonna be reading more by him! I absolutely loved the fairytale vibe it had, and the writing style and progression was so well fitted to the story. Read in one sitting, and it didn’t turn dull. And I loved the messages and it’s outlook on the different topics.

I really likes this book, but I just didn’t like the way it was written. Amazing story, amazing lovable characters and well paced. I read this book so fast, and I absolutely enjoyed it. But it felt oddly two dimensional, I didn’t really feel the emotions that the characters were feeling. I didn’t feel the true emotions when they were communicating etc. But I think that might’ve been the point too, as something who has been sick for a long time, I know how the senses and emotions get muffled when tired, because you definitely feel like there’ll not many depictions. That might’ve been an artistic liberty too, to let the reader imagine the situation, who knows. Still loved it though! Just found that to be a bit
of a bummer.
