Though I was more than enthusiastic about this series as a teenager, and this story contributed to my journey of exploring my identity as a person, as well as a reader... it was difficult to read at this point in my life. I've been actively working to develop my ability to recognize abusive and manipulative behavior, so seeing this book through that more enlightened lens made it significantly less enjoyable.

This wasn't exactly what I expected going into this book, but by following the author's journey, I feel inspired to attempt a shopping ban of my own.

This book explores family, cultural identity, anger, peace, and healing. It's creative setting and circumstances were a fascinating journey that led to many speculations about a unique world.

This collection focuses on self love, growth, life lessons, and forgiveness. It's beautiful, and I'm grateful I happened upon it.
All the Way to the Tigers: A Memoir by Mary Morris

I enjoy memoirs, and I REALLY love tigers, so this was an enjoyable read for me. I liked that there were tiger facts sprinkled throughout, though I knew them already, and I found measuring one's growth against tigers a fascinating premise.

That said, there were things in here that made me sad, and I found it heavy, though not untrue or unimportant, to repeatedly mention tiger poaching to the degree it was brought up.

I've been overwhelmed by my possessions for years. I feel like I finally have a road map to get my living space to where it needs to be. I am excited to implement the lessons I learned.

This book, much like the rest of the series, has successfully eased its way around my heart and given an uncomfortable squeeze. I positively adore it.

There were some good stories in this collection, but many of them just didn't keep my interest, unfortunately.
