Well, that was underwhelming. I loved the first half of the book, but then everything went downhill, and I found myself skimming through the pages.

Definitely a topic contender for my favorite book of the year so far.

Sloane and Xavier were everything I was looking for, from their banter to the sweet gestures and everything in between. Their relationship flowed organically, and they developed a deep understanding and mutual respect despite their contrasting personalities.

Sloane’s my new favorite Ana Huang character. I admire her strength and resilience, and I loved following her journey as she learned to trust Xavier and allow herself to be vulnerable around him.

As for Xavier, I enjoyed watching him transform from being carefree to confronting his responsibilities after facing a major change in his father’s health. Sloane had a pivotal role in helping him discover his purpose and channel his passion.
