If you ignore the self-help silliness at the end of each chapter, and are okay with a slightly less researched book, and more of a memoir, this will be a great read. It is validating, thought-provoking, and inspiring. I desperately wish my friends and family that don't understand my conviction of "I'm not 100% sure and I am not okay to bring a child into the world with those odds" could read this book. I will say that although the author does touch on the differential impact of mothering or not mothering on black and brown bodies, there could have been more inclusion of those voices and in addition, queer voices too.
