Cute book, not as smutty as everyone makes it out to be. I wish it was longer because I really like this couple specifically. It was a little plot heavy for a smut book but I liked it.

I LOVED this book, this book shifts the series to mature. A lot less plot and a lot more spice. <Spoiler> Nestas growth in this book had me relating and cheering her on the entire time, I loved the smut, I also liked that we saw the inner circle, especially rhys, from nestas point of view which was drastically different from the other books. if you didn’t have the azriel bonus chapter in your copy of the book I demand that you go read it online! It will be so important for when the next book comes out.

My second favorite book in the series, the depression section of the book helped me relate a lot when I was younger and first read this.

This book is a good break from the plot of war in the last book to just enjoy the winter holidays and family, it’s very sweet but also clearly sets the stage for the next book (ACOSF).

This book was surprisingly just not for me. Booktok raved about this book but I unfortunately went into it with the mindset of it being a romance which it very much isn’t. I personally do not usually read books like this so it was unable to grab by attention but a lot of people love it so if you love a bad ass girl defy odds and politic calculation, give it a try.

It’s hard not to be baised about this book after reading the rest of the series but I will try to not be. I will say the writing in this book is superior over the rest of the series, this book is what made me fall in love with the series and it will always have a place in my heart.
Spoiler it’s a great book even if I have to read about tampon the entire time

I’m not someone who like to shame people, especially women when it comes to relationships,
Spoiler but good god this girl gets around like it’s no ones business. It angered me the entire series.
the writing quality seems like this series is for early teenagers but it contains a lot of sexual themes and boy hopping. Overall the series got repetitive and I think if it had better writing and cut out some of the guy drama it could be a good series.

I thought the ending was good,
Spoiler I personally don’t like the pregnancy troupe but I like the series enough I can overlook it. I think Jacob imprinting was weird and kind of a sloppy way to give him a happy ending. I do enjoy when the vampires from all over are introduced and I wish we could have had some of that in the earlier books.

This is my least favorite books of the series, it’s not a bad book but the plot seems thrown in so the book isn’t solely just about relationship issues
