Made 343 (the ai) and the Forerunner saga stuff enjoyable (in as much as it deals with the fallout of launching the Halo rings). Truly remarkable.Geth getting iced in Halo 4 Spartan Ops kinda sucks but I'm one of, like, five people aware of that.

Fun and easy, with some delightful banter, but really needed a second edit. If you're determined to contract liver poisoning, take a drink every time Kai or Paedyn meets the others' eyes, or someone laughs. You'll be comatose within 75 pages.

A lot of this is very good, especially the final 25%, but the drama is pretty bad at times. Frederik only existed to drive a wedge between Kane and Arwen, and the cast is a lot less mature and likable this time. Way too many interrupted thoughts and pregnant pauses.
The gambling scene is aso unbelievably terrible and dropped a few points.

I enjoyed this a lot. It was funny and charming, also very realistic. The only problem is that the storyline with the ex-friendsisn’t resolved. Considering how significant it is to Louise's development, I felt it was a pretty big oversight.
