I was sent this book to review honestly, and I have very mixed opinions. As a lover of YA dystopian I was extremely excited to read this book, and I knew before hand that there were going to be some similarities to (one of my favourite series) The Selection by Keira Cass. Thing is, I didn't realise just how much. For the first half of the book, I felt it was too fast pace, and SO SO SO similar to the Selection in most aspects. I did however love the characters -especially Will- and the ending left me speechless and wanting more. The second half made up for the first half which was making me worried (due to the similarities). That being said, I am looking forward to the second instalment, and I would recommend this book, just not as a first choice. It's an excellent start to what promises to be a good series.
